Durham County Council won the local authority category in the British Council/HSBS Link2Learn awards. At a recent ceremony, Council Chairman Cllr Pauline Charlton and international officer, Brian Stobie, picked up the prize of £3500, which will be spent on international education projects in the county’s schools.
