A new competition is launched today for pupils in Y4 in schools in North Tyneside, South Tyneside, Newcastle, Gateshead, Sunderland and County Durham. The final of the competition will take place on 30 April at the Gala Theatre, Durham City. Pupils will have to sing in a language other than English and will be scored by their peers.
” We are hoping that as well as well known songs, we will have some songs specially composed for the event ”
