26th September is the European day of Langauges – a day to celebrate the linguistic diversity across our continent. It is not just about European languages but ALL the languages which are spoken within our shores.
Europe Direct North East is offering a limited number of £75 grants to schools which wish to mark this day by holding a special event on or around 26th September. The grant cannot be used for food tasting but can be deployed to provide additional resources for the classroom. The award of a grant is conditional upon a report being submitted which shows how the grant was used.
