This year’s award event celebrated the achievements of 53 schools from the North East and from Yorkshire and the Humber who had been successful in obtaining the British Council’s International School Award. Payal Ramchandani opened the event with beautiful kutchpudi dancing and our guest speaker Dr Niall McCann enthralled the two hundred strong audience with his tales of his travels across the globe, his passion for biology and his tireless work to support conservation.
