We have teamed up with the European Parliament Office in London to be able to offer Sixth Formers in our region the chance to win a visit to the European Parliament in Strasbourg and take part in a special Euroscola day.
Teams of young people from each of the member states will attend the day and take part in debate about issues of importance to the Union. We have a maximum of 24 places for pupils from the North East.
Schools can put forward multiple teams of up to six students. Each team must produce a news bulletin script which explores the views surrounding the freedom of movement in the EU. Full details are included in the attachment.
The authors of the winning scripts will be invited to film their bulletins at a special film making day at the Tyneside pop up film school in January 2018.
The visit to Strasbourg will take place from 21-23 March 2018 and will involve three days out of school.
