Today it is exactly 100 years ago since women in Great Britain got their right to vote in elections. Below you can also see when women in some of the European countries got their right to vote. Although women were allowed to vote they had to meet certain requirements to be able to vote in Iceland and Great Britain.

NOTE: * In Great Britain women had to be 30 years or older and own a property to be able to vote. * In Iceland women had to be 40 years or older to be able to vote until 1920
