The European Day of languages marks the diversity of languages spoken on our continent. The official day is September 26th.
Europe Direct Durham is offering schools in our region the chance to bid for a grant of £75 to arrange an event in school which shows how languages are used in eth modern workplace. You may wish to turn your school into an airport, invite speakers from industry, create a work of art or buy classroom resources – all ideas will be considered other than requests for food tasting.
