We are delighted to be able to share Dr Fiona Hill’s remarkable journey with pupils at her old school in Bishop Auckland next week.
Fiona left Bishop Barrington School to study Russian at St Andrews University. Her studies took her to Harvard where she eventually married and settled.
She served on the United States Security Council and advised three American Presidents on US/Russia relations. She came to the attention of the public in the United Kingdom when she was asked to give evidence in President Trump’s first impeachment hearing.
Recently, Fiona published a book entitled ” There’s nothing for you here” a memoir about social mobility and the need for young people not to be limited in their aspirations.
