Celebrate Diwali
To mark Diwali, Durham County Council’s International Office is offering schools the chance to have FREE access to a lively telling of the traditional Diwali story by Peter Chand, one of Europe’s renowned Indian storytellers. GemArts commissioned this special film which is available to view from the GemArts Vimeo site from 17 – 21 October.

Diwali is the festival of lights celebrated by Hindus, Sikhs and Jains across the world. It celebrates new beginnings, the triumph of good over evil, knowledge over ignorance, and light over darkness.
