The winning pupils in our Euroscola competition met at the Tyneside Cinema’s pop up film school this week to film their scripts. The competition entrants had been asked to script a news broadcast which presented the outcome which they would most prefer as a result of negotiations between the British government and the countries of the EU. The script had to include the use of European languages other than English. The finished films will be uploaded here shortly.
The pupils from Consett Acdamey, Emmanuel College, The Hermitage Academy and Teesdale School will travel to Strasbourg to take part in a day of debate on 23 March with 600 other young people drawn from across the 28 member states.
